One name on the whole job.

The group began in 1976 trading metals and grew downstream into the work — processing, fabrication and finishing. In Saudi Arabia that whole chain sits with Hidayath Metal Industries, from operational bases across the Kingdom. The material is stainless steel, aluminium, copper and the allied metals, in sheet, plate, tube, pipe, bar and section, sourced against the specification rather than to a catalogue. The services are cutting, bending, welding and fabrication, with the surface treatments and architectural finishes that complete the part.

HMI also joins metal and wood. Alongside decorative finishes, structural products and handrail and glass fittings, the Joinery Works division builds bespoke woodwork to the same drawings, so a fit-out that needs a mashrabiya screen, the balustrade beside it and the timber around both can be drawn once and made by one company. A project can buy the material, have it cut, folded, welded and finished, and take delivery from that same company — the difference between a supplier and a partner who is accountable for the result.

HMI is organised as four divisions that share one facility and one enquiry desk. A drawing sent to any of them is quoted by the people who will run the job, and if it needs two divisions — a laser-cut panel that also needs PVD, a vessel that also needs a platform — it is one quotation.
