Eccentrico is a sheared, raised pattern in which small tabs are punched out of stainless steel or aluminium sheet at varying angles. Each tab reflects light differently, so together they build a feature-wall or facade image that changes with viewing angle and distance.

About this finish
Eccentrico turns a flat sheet into a picture without printing or etching anything on it. Small tabs are sheared and pushed out of the sheet, and the angle of each tab is set individually. A tab tilted towards the viewer throws light back brightly; one tilted away falls into shadow. Set thousands of them and the light and dark tabs resolve, at a distance, into a portrait, a logo or an abstract wave. Walk past and the picture shifts, because the reflections change with your angle.
Because the image is made of light rather than pigment, the base sheet can be almost anything reflective. The group lists stainless steel and aluminium in any grade, with the substrate surface in mill, 2B, brush, vibration, mirror or bead finish, and colour from PVD or an antique finish. A mirror substrate gives the sharpest contrast between lit and shaded tabs; a brushed or bead-blasted substrate gives a softer, more even picture.

Two things follow for specification. First, the tabs are open cuts in the sheet, so the panel is not a sealed surface: there is a void behind it, and light or air passing through can be part of the design, as with an external sunscreen. Second, the sheared edges expose bare metal, which matters outdoors; on coastal sites in Jeddah and Dammam specify 316 stainless so the cut edges do not tea-stain.

Care & maintenance
Dust with a soft brush or low-pressure air rather than a cloth: the raised tabs have sharp sheared edges that catch and tear fabric, and a cloth dragged across them bends the tabs and disturbs the image. For washing, use warm water with a mild detergent applied with a soft brush, rinse with clean water and let the panel drain and dry. Do not use abrasive pads, bleach or acid cleaners. Outdoors, a periodic freshwater rinse clears dust and salt from the tab openings.
