A polished, reflective surface with no visible grain, buffed in stages to a mirror. It is the base for most PVD colours and for etched patterns.
Mirror shows fingerprints and fine scratches more than any other finish, so it is usually specified above hand height or combined with an anti-fingerprint coating.
