Water ripple stainless steel is a polished sheet pressed with an irregular, flowing undulation so reflections move across it like light on water. It is used on hotel lobby walls, corridor cladding, canopy ceilings and feature facades, in four ripple sizes from micro to huge.

About this finish
The sheet is polished first, then pressed so the surface takes a continuous, irregular undulation. There is no repeating tile in the way an embossed diamond or hexagon repeats; the ripple flows across the panel, and joins between sheets are read as part of the pattern. Because the base is a mirror polish, the finish works by reflection: ceilings, lighting and people passing become moving shapes on the wall.
Four ripple sizes are offered. Micro is a tight, fine texture that softens reflections into a shimmer. Small gives distinct, closely spaced pools. Big and Huge stretch the undulation into broad waves that read from across a lobby. The larger the ripple, the more the panel depends on what it reflects, so the lighting design matters as much as the sheet.
The group lists one standard sheet, 0.8 mm thick, 1219 mm wide and 2438 mm long, across the four patterns, in aluminium, stainless steel and Corten steel. It also lists colour options: black, blue, bronze, champagne gold, copper, gold, green, pink, purple and violet. The colouring method is not named on the page.
For specification: the finish has a direction of flow but no grain, so agree panel orientation from the sample and cut adjacent panels from the same production run. A mirror base shows fingerprints at hand height; either keep the ripple above the touch zone or plan the cleaning regime for it.

Care & maintenance
Wash with warm water and a few drops of neutral detergent on a soft microfibre cloth. Rinse with clean water and dry with a second cloth so no droplets dry on the mirror. There is no grain to follow; work in the direction of the ripple.
- Do not use bleach, chloride-based cleaners or acid descalers on stainless steel.
- Do not use abrasive pads, scourers or steel wool; every scratch shows on a mirror base.
- Aluminium and Corten versions have their own care regimes; ask for the sheet-specific guidance when ordering.
