H3D is a family of embossed three-dimensional patterns on stainless steel sheet. The relief is formed in the metal itself, so the texture is felt as well as seen. It suits interior walls, lift cars, lobbies, retail and cladding where light and texture matter.

About this finish
Each H3D pattern is embossed into the sheet, so the geometry is a permanent deformation of the steel rather than a coating or a print. At arm's length the panel reads as a repeating field of facets, domes or cells; close up, each element has a defined edge that catches light on one side and shades the other. Because the pattern is in the metal, it does not depend on a surface layer for its appearance.
The group produces H3D on stainless steel in grades 201, 304 and 316, over six substrate finishes: mill, 2B, brush, vibration, hairline and mirror (2B and mirror No. 8 as designated in ASTM A480). The substrate decides how the relief reads. On mirror the facets throw sharp reflections and the pattern looks deepest; on hairline or vibration the same die gives a softer, more even result. The compatibility record also lists copper as a base material.

For specification: a relief on a 2B or mill base is the least reflective option and shows fewer handling marks; a mirror base with PVD colour gives the strongest visual effect but shows fingerprints at hand height. Grade 316 is the choice where the panel meets humid or coastal air; 201 and 304 are appropriate for dry, conditioned interiors.

Grades we offer it on
Care & maintenance
Clean with warm water and a mild detergent, using a soft cloth or sponge, then rinse and dry. On a hairline or brushed substrate wipe along the grain; on mirror use a microfibre cloth to avoid fine scratches. The relief holds dust in its recesses, so a soft brush helps on deep patterns.
- Do not use bleach, hydrochloric acid or chloride-based cleaners on stainless steel.
- Do not use abrasive pads or powders; they scratch the substrate and can wear through PVD colour on the high points of the relief.
- For 316 panels near the coast, rinse more often to remove salt deposits.

- Embossed. The pattern is pressed into the sheet, so the relief is part of the metal. Colour, where wanted, comes from a PVD layer over the finished relief, not from ink or paint.

- Grades 201, 304 and 316. Use 304 for general interiors, 316 where humidity or chloride is present, and 201 where cost governs and the interior is dry and conditioned. The base finish can be mill, 2B, brush, vibration, hairline or mirror.
