Hangle finish stainless steel

At arm's length a Hangle sheet reads as a lively, almost fabric-like surface. Close up, it is made of many small brushed areas, each with its own grain direction, overlapping across the sheet. Because no two neighbouring patches share a direction, the surface does not reflect light as one flat plane; it breaks the reflection into pieces, which is what gives the finish its depth and also makes light scratches and water marks less obvious than they are on a single-direction hairline.

The pattern sits in the metal surface itself, not in a layer printed onto it. It can be left in the natural matte stainless tone or carried through PVD colouring. PVD is a hard, thin ceramic coating deposited in a vacuum; the colour is in the coating, not a paint layer, so the brushed texture stays visible under it. The group lists Gold, Bronze, Copper and Black, plus Blue, Purple, Pink and Green.

For specification, choose the grade by the environment rather than by the pattern. Grade 304 covers most interior wet rooms. Where the sheet sees chlorides, whether from pool chemistry, steam-room cleaning agents or coastal air in Jeddah and Dammam, specify 316 so pitting does not undermine the texture. Grade 201 is the lower-cost option and belongs in dry, indoor, low-risk positions.

Clean with warm water and a mild, chloride-free detergent on a soft cloth, then rinse and dry. Because the grain runs in many directions there is no single direction to wipe with; use light circular passes and avoid scouring pads, steel wool and abrasive powders, which cut through the texture and, on PVD, through the colour layer. Do not leave bleach or acid descalers on the surface. In steam rooms and showers, rinse off cleaning chemicals promptly and ventilate so water does not sit on the sheet.
