Chequered stainless steel sheet is a decorative embossed sheet with raised bars set over a leather or linen texture, giving grip and shadow at once. The group offers it in 304 and 316, in PVD colours, for feature walls, lift interiors and decorative panels.

About this finish
This is not the floor plate sold for walkways. The page shows a decorative panel sheet: short raised bars, the chequer-plate motif, pressed into a sheet that already carries a leather grain or a linen weave, so the bars stand out of a textured field rather than a flat one. The raised bars give the surface grip under the hand and throw a shadow line at their edge; the fine texture between them kills glare and hides marks.
At a distance the bars set the rhythm and the sheet reads as a regular lozenge grid. Close up the ground texture takes over, pebbled on the leather version and evenly stippled on the linen. The page lists PVD in Gold, Black, Bronze, Champagne and Copper. PVD is a thin hard ceramic layer, so the colour sits on the raised bars and the recesses alike, with the bars catching more light.
- Grades: the page names stainless 304 and 316, both to ASTM A240 / EN 10088-1. 316 for anything near coastal chloride in Jeddah or Dammam.

Care & maintenance
Warm water, mild detergent, soft cloth; rinse and dry. Dust settles between the bars and in the ground texture, so a soft brush does what a cloth cannot. No bleach, no chloride cleaners, no abrasive pads; avoid solvents on PVD-coloured sheet.
The page does not rate the finish for outdoor or seaside use. If it goes outside, the rule is the grade's: 316 near the coast and a rinse to clear salt from the recesses.
